Conservative Party Leader David Cameron visited Hammersmith yesterday, where he addressed a crowd of local people outside Hammersmith Town Hall.
Joined by local Conservative MP for Hammersmith & Fulham, Greg Hands and Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush, Shaun Bailey, David Cameron asked people to vote Conservative in order to get a strong team of Conservative MEPs in Brussels, but also to force Gordon Brown to hold the referendum he promised on the European Constitution.
The visit happened just hours after yet another Government Cabinet Minister resigned, leading David Cameron to say the Government is falling apart before our eyes and that Britain needs a General Election now.
David Cameron also praised Conservative-run Hammersmith & Fulham Council for being able to cut Council Tax three years running and improve local services at the same time.

I have read your leaflet, Although I get the impression that some of your savings are achieved by producing more unemployment, I am impressed by your statement that the previous council had built up a debt of £160 million. How did it do this? And I am even more impressed by your having cut £20,millions. How were you able to do this. I would be very interested to otain more facts about this,
